State Budget 2023

Last Parliamentary sittings week we reviewed and debated the State Budget for 2023.

Our electorate has benefited again from around $3.3m invested in our local schools, including substantial renovations at Payne Road Primary, access and inclusion ramps for The Gap State High, a and a multipurpose court for Ithaca Creek amongst some of our announcements.

My full speech can be read or viewed here, including a shout out to local creative artist, business owner and Wakka Wakka man David Williams. David, alongside his team at Gilimbaa designed the motif on the Queensland budget cover and throughout the document.

'Rich History, Thriving Future' created to support Treasury's goal of building strong and authentic relationships for the benefit of every Queenslander. Congratulations David!
