Eco Forum 2023

Saturday 15 July I’m hosting my annual Eco Forum. The event will be held again at The Gap State School, 1111 Waterworks Road, The Gap, from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm.

As you may know, the forum focuses on all things enviro -this year’s theme is diving into our Threatened Species, where we will be touching on both land and ocean species. I’m excited to announce our guest speakers include Environmental Minister Leanne Linard, and federal Agricultural Minister Sen Murray Watts - along with representatives from the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) and Queensland Conservation Council.

Local sustainability groups, including The Repair Cafe, Paten Park Nursery and Save Our Waterways Now will be onsite. You can also find out how to get involved in local environmental initiatives, including The Gap Sustainability Initiative’s Platypus Project, and The Gap’s Community Solar Battery project.

Looking forward to seeing you there!
